At May-Day Ink, we’ve always believed that our mission doesn't end when the uniform comes off. It’s about honoring the legacy of service, strengthening the lifelong bonds of brotherhood, and finding purpose outdoors. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce our 2026 Free Veteran Dove Hunt.
We’ve been hard at work managing the sunflower fields out in Rogersville in the East Tennessee area, and they are primed and ready for the season. This event is 100% free and dedicated entirely to getting veterans out in the field to share some laughs, tell some stories, and knock down some birds.
What to Expect
If you’ve hunted doves before, you know there’s nothing quite like the fast-paced action and the smell of freshly cut fields on opening day. If you haven't, there’s no better group to learn with than a field full of fellow veterans.
We will be kicking off the morning of the hunt with a meetup and mandatory safety briefing at the Rogersville Walmart before heading out to the property. We'll cover firearm handling, blind positioning, and target engagement protocols so everyone stays safe and has a great time.

License Verification: To hunt legally, you must confirm you hold a valid Tennessee hunting license along with your Migratory Bird (HIP) Permit.
Gear Up Before You Go
